Russian retailers see soared interest to new smartphone Xiaomi 13

MOSCOW, Apr 4 (PRIME) -- Russians’ demand in new smartphone Xiaomi 13 has quadrupled at the pre-ordering stage in comparison to the previous models and quintupled during the first days of sale, retailers and the industry’s representatives told PRIME on Tuesday.

“In our chains…the demand for flagship device Xiaomi 13 was four times higher at the pre-ordering stage in comparison to the previous line…Sales of the devices started at the end of last week. Russian buyers liked the smartphones with successful design and technical features, including professional optics and the processor,” a representative of retailer M.Video-Eldorado Group said.

Mobile operator MegaFon, which also runs a retail chain, confirmed a risen interest to the devices. “Sales of the new devices are five times more than Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro during the first four days of sales in 2022,” a company representative said.

Mobile operator MTS said it sold out the first batch of Xiaomi 13 within two days after pre-ordering was opened.
